This Just In

3 days on the job...and I am out of here.

Same old thing as Bob Dylan said about 20 years of school and whammo, you are on the day shift.

We move through time because we have been programmed a certain way. Colonized by the society we live in and the colonizers of the land we live on.

Finding peace in love and connection and community are still my goals as I continue to live my story.

Speedhumps come up all the time within my thinking machine.

The last stretch of road is in front of me. No one knows the length.

Taking the time to breathe and be and live in that moment is what I have always preached. Finding the time in your life to live it has at times been very difficult.

Recently, like last week, I commenced a job back in the corporate world doing something that is harmless to society. The job involved working with software and a product I knew I could handle and I would be a customer support team member.

The people and the culture of the organization were a nice fit.

My gut was telling me if I was starting a new role I should be excited about the months ahead.

Excitement was not on the cards. I could not see myself talking to people about this product and supporting them.

It would be as dry as The Simpson Desert.

A year ago I sat in the woods and I relinquished fear. In some ways, I felt as if taking this job on I was doing it out of fear of not having enough. That is not the reason to take on a project or a way to live a life.

My Vision Quest is still with me exactly one year on.

Spirit will fill me and care for me.

I do not like to let people down, but this is only a job.

It is a corporation.

They will survive.

Meanwhile, this is my life. My time.
It is precious.

Spirit will guide me and my heart is open.
