“Now the darkness only stays the night-time
In the morning it will fade away
Daylight is good at arriving at the right time
It's not always gonna be this gray
All things must pass
All things must pass away”-George Harrison
The clock has just ticked over to June 14th in America. Even from here in Quy Nhon, a beautiful coastal city in South Eastern Vietnam, my mind grumbles and tumbles—like it did during the bus ride we had down the coast from Hoi An yesterday.
Thinking about the history of this country and the shame America should always feel about its involvement here.
War is continuing somewhere else today. Israel attacks Iran. Marco Rubio says the US was not involved in the attack. The USA Administration of Peace (according to the Orange Psycho) has not been involved.
According to the Costs of War Project at Brown University, the United States spent $17.9 billion on military aid to Israel from October 2023 to October 2024.
You do the analysis. I call BULLSHIT.
Every press conference for weeks the leader of America kept tellling Iran to make a deal on their nuclear capabilities or things would get worse. He intimated that there would be an attack of some sort. Was ANYONE surprised?
And yesterday he had this to say….what a peaceful dude.
God Bless You All? That certainly sticks in my throat like vomit that I cannot dislodge when it comes from this first-class liar and crook.
As I roll through Vietnam, basking in the natural beauty, there is still something that will take generations to ever repair. Fifty years later, Vietnam’s degraded ecosystems and dioxin-contaminated soils and waters still reflect the long-term ecological consequences of the war. Efforts to restore these damaged landscapes and even to assess the long-term harm have been limited.
The American War was a disaster.
Israel/Iran could just be another moment in the long-running soap opera of death that is the Middle East. Or not. I have no damn crystal ball.
The ethic cleansing continues in Gaza. You’ve seen the pictures it does not look inhabitable, but meanwhile, 2.1 million people call it home. A large majority of them are starving.
55000 people in Gaza have died and countless injured since that fateful day in October 2023. Meanwhile, this has gone way beyond retaliation and looking for hostages.
GAZA is the genocidal-starvation project now.
Indigenous people have paid this price over and over and on and on….
And now it is the 14th of June, just after midnight in America, and the Orange Psycho is celebrating his birthday in OUR NATION’S CAPITAL with a military parade. If it looks like a dictator and smells like a dictator, well you know the rest.
Besides the troops in Washington D.C., the National Guard and Marines still stand in Los Angeles. As of this moment, the courts are still allowing the Orange Psycho to maintain this invasion of the streets and destruction of how government works. May the courts finally rule in favour of the beautiful state of California. The protests have been small and yes there has been some unrest, violence and looting.
Mayor Karen Bass has it under control.
America takes to the streets today. The NO KINGS Protests will take place around America to show resistance and their disgust with the policies and degradation of living in America under this fascist.
And Sly and Brian are gone…..
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
I do hope we can see a peaceful day across America. We do not want to see what we saw 57 years ago.

We need to bring this administration down. I wish I was there walking the streets and talking the talk with some of you today.
Raise Your Voices STRONG AND HIGH!
Love is in the air, but we are having trouble breathing it in.
Breathe deep.
No, I'm not gonna to hide my feelings
Couldn't if I tried
No, I'm not holding them inside
Holding back is so close to stealing
Though we both have tried
We could lose it all if we lied.
Someday it's later than
The feelings we have now
It's of the ground
I've always played around
But now I don't know how.
Listen easy because I'm saying
What I mean this time
Sharing words I always said were mine
I was breezy, now I'm swaying
Like the tree we climbed
Asking you to give me one more sign.-Neil Young
