Hello Friends,
I’d like to build something with anyone who wants to join me around a virtual fire.
Life moves so fast, and I hope you might want to slow down with me for a moment.
I’ve been feeling the need for something slower and more real, and I’d love to start a monthly Zoom gathering — a simple space where we can pause for an hour, check in with each other, breathe a little more deeply with friends, new and old.
Kindness, listening, sharing…with no judgement. There’s nothing to prepare and no expectation to share anything profound. Just come as you are.
Conspiring, communicating, and connecting with no agenda except to share our humanity with each other. Maybe we can call it the Connecting, Conspiring, Creativity Circle. (PS-Please note, someone recently said to me they were ‘tired’ of circles. We can call it any shape and make it any shape we desire. A rhombus, a triangle, ….but you can’t spell LOVE without a circle.)
Each month, we can gather around and share our feelings and thoughts about a topic. Some ideas are what made you laugh this month. How do you create space for yourself? Tell us about a moment in nature you recently enjoyed, etc? You get the idea. I know how smart all of you are.
I believe we are all longing for deeper connection in a world that often leaves us feeling scattered and alone. My hope is that this little gathering can become a place of warmth, honesty, kindness, laughter, reflection, and renewal. A space to take a break from our busy lives and share it with some other humans.
A place where we remember we do not walk through life alone.
