March 2025-Weirdness Wrap For The Month
Tropical Influences Keeping Me Away From Weirdness....But Here is a bit...and some new music....check out the Playlist
25% of 2025 has slipped away. Swimming around Thailand, figuratively and literally, has filled my last couple of weeks. Depending on which way the wind blows, it will fill some weeks ahead. I get all the weather reporting I need from looking out of my bungalow.
Geckos, monitor lizards, wild beach dogs and the cats of Thailand are some of the entertaining wild life we have encountered. We hope to swim with some sea creatures over the next few days as we take to the water to snorkel and explore. Things are simply peaceful and easy. It’s a good feeling to know.
But here we are at the end of March and we have to touch on some of the weirdness going on in the world. America is leading the race because the Orange Psycho and his cult of followers are turning the USA over to the highest bidder.
Breathe…take a break and check out some of the Thailand Cats!

Every day, something else comes out of the White House that can make your head spin. Executive Orders that seem like they were dreamed up the night before. The Orange Psycho is wielding his black, historic Sharpies like a King. He thinks they are all important or ‘huge’, and most of the time I don’t think he can weave his way to understanding them.
America leads the month once again in weirdness as they strip the nation of everything positive and install rich white men and women into positions of power and influence. Most of them have no public service or government experience. If you have not read this piece about Trump being a Russian operative, you might want to see if it resonates with you. (But here are some more Thai Cats!)

READ IT….tell me what you think?
I am not sure if this take on who The Orange Psycho may be is so out there. This has been talked about for many years now. With Trump about to launch LIBERATION DAY (almost sounds Russian, doesn’t it?) on April 2nd, 2025, with an oil tanker full of tariffs for the countries who won’t play nice, things may get worse than weird.
Is this the commencement of the next Recession?
Swimming in Thailand waters is a sweet place to avoid the insanity. There has only been one other American we have met and they do not want to go back to their homeland. Can you blame them?
Government employees are losing their jobs from Social Security to the IRS to Veterans Affairs. You know that the ability for citizens to work with the government in many ways is going to be impacted. They talk a good game about efficiency, but that is all talk.
Signal Gate has been closed, according to the White House, and they won’t even answer any further questions from the media. One of the most insane security lapses in living memory and they lie, lie , lie and blame Biden or Jeffrey Goldberg. This stuff is becoming commonplace, and I don’t even know if we can call what is happening in Washington, D.C. odd anymore.
But of course, this weird ass Jenga tongue story comes out of California:

With most of the world pissed off or about to be pissed off by The Ruler of America, things are bound to get weirder, but they will probably get uglier too for most Americans. Unless of course, you have billions, and then you can do what you want.
Speaking of weird ass billionaires, Muskrat (‘can’t spell FELON, without ELON’) attempted to buy an election in Wisconsin by giving away millions of dollars. It was a failed attempt. He should be removed from the White House and I hope that happens soon. But he won’t care, he has his government contracts and he bought the election, so he’s going to get most of what he wants.

Fortunately, most of America is on the Musk hate train….as you can see above in the Tesla Fire Rampage of 2025.
In short, I have been swimming and drinking iced beverages and avoiding weirdness. There are always great errors on menus and signs in Asia, but that’s not even weird anymore.
Things continue to move fast. Even when I look away for a moment….
And staying in California and the cat theme, Lynea Lattanazio, and her cat sanctuary, Cat House On The Kings out near Fresno, is presently home to 1100 felines. Lynea has housed and fostered up to 28,000 cats since 1992. Crazy.
Meow. Purr. Repeat.
Here is something taking off in Germany, quite possibly Frankfurt…
I have some swimming to do. Maybe I will find something bizarre in the Gulf Of Thailand.
Meanwhile, think you may be in a cult?
And Spalding has some news for you…
And we did come across some severe turbulence in the weirdness zone when I dragged Tina along to the Bangkok Forensic Museum on the West bank of the Chao Phraya River. Here, there were displays of body parts from accident victims and murder cases and more. Here is a little taste below…but if you are soft in the stomach, maybe leave me now.

See ya soon with some more writing when the rain returns….but for now, we wait for the pre-election weird ass behaviour to come out of Australia in April.
I need a VB….
Some new releases worth checking out:
John Lee Hooker-The Standard School Broadcast Recordings-You can’t go wrong with the Hook.
My Morning Jacket-is-Nothing new, but if you dig these 40-something rockers, you will find some joy here.
Neil Young- Oceanside Countryside- Most of these songs from around 1977 have been released on other records, so there are only some subtle differences. For Neil fans and tragics like me.
Dutch Interior-Moneyball-Nothing to do with baseball, this California sextet seem to have found their chops here. The name comes from a series of paintings by Joan Miro, in case you were wondering.
The Cruel Sea-Straight Into The Sun- Excellent! And the first album by this band in 23 years….damn, I have children older than that!
