December 8th Video Of The Day
Wanted to share this in an email….’I’m sorry….’
The Beach
One day when we walked the beach,
sun-branded,
The fine lines of the costume you abandoned.
I found it, now we’re stranded here in this most uncivilised time of year.
We stood against the stolen signs,
and told truths
Like the stories of we regained of our youth,
and then we danced,
‘neath a roof of lampshades to the ballads of our favourite age.
It’s raining now,
but that won’t bother you,
you’re sunny inside.
And by the by, I think I love you.
But that won’t be possible now.
We sat and read the Sunday stars,
and you laughed,
when I told you that I dreamt about your past.
And that was that,
I never saw your face again.
It’s raining now,
but that won’t bother you,
you’re sunny inside.
And by the by, I think I love you.
But that won’t be possible now.
Oh it’s raining now,
but that won’t bother you,
you’re sunny inside.
And by the by, I think I love you.
But that won’t be possible now.
Oh it’s raining now,
but that won’t bother you,
you’re sunny inside.
And by the by, I think I love you.
But that won’t be possible now.
I’m sorry
