Let's Play Trump Election Promises Bingo
Well, it's time to keep score and see what this 2nd Term Apprentice does
First, I got the election prediction wrong. I did believe in America and that the majority of the population had ethics and morality. I did believe that they would reject a convicted felon who has surrounded himself with billionaires. Don’t forget billionaires care about you and your taxes and health care.
No they do not. They care about one thing: POWER.
They already have the money. America will continue to fight this evil and let’s hope not too many people are hurt by the election promises noted below.
I only list them because we need to see if he can pull this off and if he does not we need to be able to go back to the brainwashed with facts.
They may be too far gone but there is only one set of facts.
Project 2025 should be read. Take the time to see what this President and his crones want America to look like.
Here is how they announce it:
Project 2025 is a historic movement, brought together by over 100 respected organizations from across the conservative movement, to take down the Deep State and return the government to the people. Its Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise, published in April 2023, is a product of more than 400 scholars and policy experts from around the country. The book offers a menu of policy suggestions to meet our country’s deepest challenges and put America back on track.
Be afraid!
Here are 24 of Trump’s election promises:
1. On Day 1, “we will begin the largest deportation operation in American history.”
-closing the southern border (WALL) and ending birthright citizenship
-Use Alien Enemies Act to remove gang members, cartel members and drug dealers from the US
-death penalty for drug dealers
-mass deportation of 11 million illegal migrants.
He promised these deportations in 2016. Keep that in mind.
2. “My very first day back in the White House, I will terminate every single open border policy of the Biden-Harris administration, and we will seal the border.”
He was unable to seal the border in his last stint as Commander In Chief.
3. “We will drill, baby, drill.”
“We’re going to ‘drill, baby, drill’ right away,” Trump told a crowd of supporters in Des Moines, Iowa, during a victory speech after winning the state’s Republican caucuses in January.
At a South Carolina rally in February, he pledged to remove limits on American natural gas exports.
The Washington Post has also reported that Trump, during an April meeting at Mar-a-Lago, pledged to roll back some of Biden’s climate policies if oil executives raised $1 billion for his campaign.
As for other energy sources, Trump has also changed his tune on the expansion of offshore wind farms, which he had touted at the start of his presidency as part of a broader push to “unleash the forces of economic innovation to more fully develop and explore our ocean economy.”
4. “We will end inflation and make America affordable again.”
He said he would beat inflation. The current annual inflation rate is 2.4%, back to levels last seen in February 2021. Let’s see how he goes on lowering prices for American’s grocery bill.
So can we make America affordable again, in the sense of getting prices back to what they were before the pandemic? Almost surely not, nor should we try. It was important that inflation not get entrenched in the economy, and it didn’t. Instead, we seem to have achieved what many thought impossible: a soft landing that combines low inflation with low unemployment.
5. “I will terminate the Green New Scam,” and end the electric vehicle mandate.” Yeah, ok….whatever.
6. “We will pass massive tax cuts for workers” that include no tax on tips.
7. “I will revoke China’s most favored nation status.”
Context: China was granted permanent and “most favored” trade status in 2001 by Republican President George W. Bush, meaning the U.S. generally should offer China trade terms that are as good as any other trading partner with the U.S.
8. “I will pass the Trump Reciprocal Trade Act, which means that if China or any other country makes us pay a 100 or 200 percent tariff or tax, we will make them pay a reciprocal tariff or tax of 100 or 200 percent immediately, right back.”
9. Shortly after regaining the Oval Office, “I will have the horrible war between Russia and Ukraine settled … quickly.” He has no plan for this…just words. The clock is ticking.
10. “I will prevent World War III.” Well, that is good. Every President has done that since World War II.
11. “I will restore peace through strength.” Yeah, that sounds wrong.
12. “In my next term, we will build a great Iron Dome missile defense shield over our country, a dome the likes of which no one has ever seen before, and it will be entirely made in the USA.” Cut to Herschel Walker who introduced Trump as Donald Trump Jr late in the campaign. Herschel Walker is an ex NFL player who never finished college. Most science says this cannot be built.
13. “I will not cut one penny from Social Security or Medicare, and I will not raise the retirement age.” We will keep an eye on this one.
14. “I am going to keep you out of wars.” Excellent. But will you support our allies?
15. “We have people at the top [of the military] that are woke, and they’re all gone. We are going to get rid of them so fast.”
Context: Trump said this in St. Cloud, Minnesota, only. Trump asserted that most military generals are not “woke,” but that some are. Trump is pledging to get rid of those who are “woke.”
16. “We are going to rebuild our cities into beacons of hope, safety and beauty better than they’ve ever been before.”
17. “We will take over the horribly run capital of our nation … and clean it up, renovate it, rebuild it.”
18. I will sign an executive order that cuts federal funding “for any school pushing critical race theory, transgender insanity and other inappropriate racial, sexual or political content onto the shoulders of our children.”
19. “I will defund any school that has a vaccine or mask mandate.”
20. “I will keep men out of women’s sports.”
21. “I will fully uphold our Second Amendment.” So much for any new restrictions on the killing school fields of America. Obvioulsy he is not talking about protecting innocent life as he does in # 22.
22. “We will protect innocent life.” This is in regards to abortion rights.
23. “We will restore, very quickly, free speech.” I am unsure what he means here. Freedom of Speech is part of the Constituion and at times it is is battered, but what does his administration think Free Speech is?
Context: This short phrase leads to an extensive plan for “free speech” reform that Trump announced in 2022. He would use presidential power to limit what rules federal agencies, universities and tech companies could employ to address speech, including controversial ideas.
Trump, alongside other right-wing figures and his supporters, have made continuous claims that a combination of news media, social media platforms and a “deep state” arm of the government have sought to suppress their speech.
24. “I will secure our elections.” Well, no one complained about any election but you in 2020. No one complaned about the 2024 election. I think this has already been in place. FALSE CLAIM. But what will he do now, now that he has won and there has been a concesssion and an upcoming peaceful tranistion of power. Something he knew nothing about in 2021.
I will be keeping track of his promises and his Presidency. You should too! Because you know they will lie about what they have accomplished. Hold them accountable.
America, you will survive this, and come out stronger.
Don’t lose hope.
