Greetings Fellow Humans!
Hope this message finds you in good spirits and comfortable.
This is your invitation to Just A Moment Call #1 Redux.
It will be a special call.
Why?
Just because you might be there with a few other souls and me.
Just recently, in a 24 hour period , I have been lucky enough to hear from a good handful of people I dearly love. Online chats, text messages and phone calls all bombarded me with happiness. That’s one type of HUMAN Connection.
Connection. Let’s think about it. There are many forms.
And that leads us into some questions/suggestions of things to contemplate and feel into (you can do some, none, or change them in any way to suit yourself):
• What activities bring you connection to the more-than-human world around you?
• How do you experience that connection (feelings, embodiment, etc.)?
• What kind of connection do you need/crave and what happens when you get it (and when you don’t get it)?
And some invitations:
• Write, draw, sing, or do anything creative about a meaningful episode of connection you’ve had to the more-than-human world (dreams are included of course!)—you can share anything you like on the session.
• Go out on a wander to seek connection if you feel called to do that
TIPS:
Speak from the heart, listen from the heart, get to the heart of the matter—be spontaneous and try not to rehearse what you’re going to share (yes, it is very hard)
This is new: Sharing can consist of anything that supports the truthful sharing of your heart—reading poetry, singing, movement, showing art you’ve drawn, or even silence
Just come along and take a little time out.
Meanwhile, take this thought away today you bunch of miracles:
Probability of your existing at all: 1 in 102,685,000
As a comparison, the number of atoms in the body of an average male (80kg, 175 lb) is 1027. The number of atoms making up the earth is about 1050. The number of atoms in the known universe is estimated at 1080.
So what’s the probability of your existing? It’s the probability of 2 million people getting together – about the population of San Diego – each to play a game of dice with trillion-sided dice. They each roll the dice, and they all roll, say, 550,343,279,001. The exact same number out of a trillion possible numbers.
A miracle is an event so unlikely as to be almost impossible. By that definition, I’ve just shown that you are a miracle.
Now go forth and feel and act like the miracle that you are.
