"J" Bands/Musos I Recall Seeing
Memory Hazy For Sure....but for now we sit at 155
There are a whole bunch in this category and more that will pop up over time that is for sure.
If you are keeping score we are CLOSE TO 700 total from A-J with 16 letters to go!
The number will increase until I can no longer get to live gigs….so enjoy the ride, I sure am.
These lists could be so much bigger if I named each artist in each band I saw, but hell, I don’t have that much time in my life.
And as per normal, artists in BOLD I have seen at least 2x.

My friends and I bought a nickel bag of reefer and we did not know how to roll joints yet so we emptied out Marlboro’s and funneled the weed in.

Jesse Colin Young-Jesse was in the Youngbloods and their song “Get Together” was a hippie anthem. I recall watching him with 300,000 people in the shadow of the World Trade Centre for the free No Nukes Concert. Joan As Policewoman
Joan Baez
Joanne Shaw Taylor-One night she arrived at her gig at The Basement in Sydney on the back of a motorcycle. She took off her helmet and her long hair fell over her shoulders. Justin Townes Earle-I miss Justin. He was an excellent performer and writer.
The Jefferson Aeroplane story is a cracker. Lucky you it wasn’t Starship. I think you’ve seen every band that mattered that ever existed
Wow, what a list!
