Freedom to go maskless.

Freedom to dance.

Freedom to commune and connect with loved ones inside and outside the home.

Freedom to hug.

We all know the road Victoria and Australia took to get here.

Heading into Summer 2020 we thought we had this beast beat. Delta came along and hit us upside the head.

Suffering and resiliency played out across the year. We were all tested. And tested again and again.

Did the virus get tired? Of course not, we have been jabbed and we have passed the peak of pressure on our amazing health workers. Hopefully.

I glance at the news and see what is happening around the world in regards to this pandemic. Of course, it is not over, it does not have a hard stop.

We just start caring about it less and less and it fades away.

Memories of the things we did not do will linger.

We will create more memories. Together.
