Spending time with my daughter in Carlotta, California for the next two weeks will be a deep immersion of love and activity….so broadcasting may be interrupted….but meanwhile let’s try the video option.

Another intriguing young woman I met at the Mai Tai Bar was a wonderful person named Gabbi. She looked like some sweet country Californian girl. She then told me her tale of how the Navy looked good and she went to Annapolis and is now 2IC and a Lieutenant on LSD ships.
I know the navy is not in the business of sending psychedelics to the world and she told me they deliver goods and troops to shore.
“So you bring guns and ammo and troops to war?”
She said she had not been in combat but that would be part of the role.
She said the Navy was going to give her opportunities and was not going to be a full time career.
We covered other topics about life, love and following your heart and soul and I was chuffed when she said I gave her hope and a more positive outlook.
So never judge a book by their cover and you certainly know I’m not being sexist around her job and skills….I was amazed at what she did at such a young age and always interested in why people make the jump to the armed forces….
So when the Captain is off the deck this is the LSD type ship she commands ….(above)
