Yes, the actual Earth Day passed me by. There was no mention in my news feed. I must have been busy.
But not a day goes by that I do not cherish this planet and the beauty it gives each and every one of us.

Australia is one of 17 megadiverse countries, yet we are leading the world in mammal extinctions. More than 100 unique Australian species have been driven to extinction. Dozens more are on the edge of being wiped out forever.
Australia currently hosts more than 250 data centres, with the majority concentrated in New South Wales (NSW) and Victoria. Growth has accelerated rapidly in recent years. Total national data centre occupancy increased fortyfold between 2005 and 2025, with two-thirds of that growth occurring since 2020. Global data centre capacity is further expected to double between 2026 and 2030. (USCC 2025)
Australia faces significant water security challenges as the driest inhabited continent, driven by climate change, droughts, and population growth. Key risks include reduced rainfall, increased demand, and aging infrastructure. and increased DATA CENTRE DEVELOPMENT.
