One month back in the homeland
Country
Filled with love and connection
Rest
Hard to come by
Or it’s just hard for me to rest
“Got deep on some meditation, trying to find me some peace
Came face to face with a three-eyed Jesus, he said, "It ain't that hard you see"
Just sip a little clear in the evenings, say your prayers twice a week
Spend a little less time on the TV news and a little more time on the creek”-Town Mountain
So we got some country and some western and some other stuff all wrapped up in this playlist.

Shapeshifter-Violet Bell-Soul, folk, bluegrass, and a good dosage of social and political meaning. The duo named Violet Bell is Lizzy Ross and Omar Ruiz Lopez. They were born in 2016 and this record is a massage for the soul and the ears. Dip into Americana fresh from the Appalachian Hills.

Alpenglow-Trampled By Turtles-Approaching 20 years of playing together, TBT, are a progressive bluegrass band that originated from Minnesota.
Dave Simmonett the band’s lead guitarist and singer had this to say:
“A lot of us have the opportunity laid out in front of us to do something, whatever we want with our lives. And bit by bit, it’s oftentimes pulled away from people [as they get older],” he says. “There’s a lot of forces telling you to do something besides what you really want to do. One of the great freedoms is to ignore that.” This new album was produced by Jeff Tweedy at The Loft in Chicago.
Extrovert-Mr. Sun-Bluegrass, swing, and a bunch of fun. The four accomplished musicians that make up this band take instrumental music to a level that may keep this record on repeat for some time.
All That You Can Dream-Grant-Lee Phillips-Phillips is 59 years old now and has been delivering music to our ears for close to 30 years. He can sing and he can write. Settle into this record and dig deep into what life is about. Grant-Lee is back. But really, he never left.
