Dashville Skyline 2015-2021 More To come

For 5 years running the Dashville Skyline Music Festival in Lower Belford, NSW, had been a place to kick off any cobwebs remaining from the previous winter.

An Americana styled festival with camping for 3-4 days is right in my wheelbarrow.

Old friends gather, new friends made and music delivered under the trees from morning until midnight.

Local and International musicians played over 2 stages with no overlap so you were focused on the music at hand or you were eating or drinking within the festival site or sitting at your campsite chatting and catching up while someone played a country song not too far away.

The Sunset Super Round has been dearly missed over the last 2 years. This was a chance for the gathered artists to play some fabulous covers of Americana artists past and present.

Thinking of the Dashville Progress Society doing Tarantino or the night they played an Allman Brothers tune (was it “One Way Out”) and I turned to Nello and said, “They are going to do a Dead song for sure”….and moments later “Eyes Of The World” got us all rattling our bones.

The Johnston Crew have put on Gumball, Thrashville and other events on their lovely country property.

For this cosmic cowboy, Dashville Skyline is heaven on earth.

The next installment has been moved to February 2022.
