Out Of My Brain....On The Train...To Springfield
No matter what you think about politics and politicians, there is one word you cannot use to define the 2024 US Commander-in-Chief Election.
That word is predictable.
Here are 4 things you could NOT have predicted:
1-Donald Trump would tweet, in all capital letters, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT”.
2-Prior to the Biden/Trump debate, you would have been thought somewhat mad to think Biden would step down as the Democratic nominee.
3-J.D.Vance told CNN that he would make up stories, I think that is called lying, to look after the suffering of the American people. (Note: I can’t believe I even wrote that sentence.
4-That a candidate for President would ever utter this statement…in a Presedential debate, mind you.
“In Springfield, they’re eating the dogs, the people that came in, they’re eating the cats,” said Trump. “They’re eating the pets of the people that live there.”
That is simply a handful of the nonsense that comes out of the USA each day during this campaign that seems to be going on longer than infinity.
Before we leave Springfield…..how about this quote from 45?
“I’m going to go there in the next two weeks. I’m going to Springfield, and I’m going to Aurora,” Trump said. “You may never see me again, but that’s OK. Gotta do what I gotta do. Whatever happened to Trump? Well, he never got out of Springfield.”
Will he become a pet eater? Will he be eaten? Or is he saying that something more sinister may occur in Springfield?
The people of Springfield do not want 45 to visit. They know what he has said on national TV is a lie.
And now the citizens of Springfield, and their beautiful pets, do not want Trump to visit.
Or maybe just let him go to Springfield and he will disappear…please.
